Life of a Gamer

What is gaming? Why is gaming? Why do I choose to game as much as I do? Truth be told, is that the game world is so much more fun than reality. We can play and be 10 again. Build and affect our own happy dream space and share it with people that you’ve known for a long time online, making real connections. Having fun… Together.

I find the real world news to be depressing. Something that if I turn off the tv or not read the news websites (that we don’t even know if they are reporting unbiased news by the way) that everything will magically disappear and then I can claim ignorance because it isn’t in front of my eyes everyday.

The REAL world is full of conflict, hardships, danger, and tragedy… and God forbid WAR, and perhaps games are a way of ignoring the bad for a while.

I kinda want Ready Player One to happen. I’d be in that shit all day because it’s more entertaining than the real world. Work, Play, eat, sleep…then start all over again. Maybe there’s something wrong with me.
